Alongside my client work, I love collaborating with brilliant independent businesses, thoughtful brands and places that genuinely align with the way I live, work and create.

That might look like a creative service swap, gifted stay or experience, PR collaboration, content partnership — or something we haven't thought of yet.

I’m particularly interested in working with brands and businesses connected to independent business, motherhood + family life, travel + adventure, home education, wellbeing, creativity, sustainable living and doing life a little differently.

CREATIVE SERVICE SWAPS

Have something brilliant you’d like to exchange for some of my creative brain?

I’m occasionally open to swapping design, strategy or creative support for products, services or experiences that I would genuinely choose to spend my own money on.

The scope of the creative work will reflect the value of the exchange. Smaller or newer businesses might be a great fit for a Power Hour, social media assets, a mini creative project or some strategic input, while larger collaborations may allow us to explore something more substantial.

I don’t generally exchange full branding or website packages for products or services of a significantly lower value — but I deliberately keep this flexible. If you make incredible coffee, own the loveliest little cabin in Wales or have something I’m already desperate to experience, pitch me. A good collaboration doesn't always have to make perfect sense on a spreadsheet.

A NOTE FOR NEW BUSINESSES

If you're just starting out, please don't let that stop you getting in touch.

I know that exchanging skills can be a brilliant way to build something when cash is tight — but a collaboration needs to feel mutually valuable.

If you're still building your portfolio or experience, I’m unlikely to exchange one of my larger design packages in full. Instead, we can look at a smaller, defined piece of work that feels fair on both sides — perhaps a Power Hour, mini design package, social media assets or creative direction.

And if I absolutely love what you're doing? There are always exceptions.

PR + CONTENT PARTNERSHIPS

Carly Made is also a place where I share the things we're actually doing, using, questioning and loving — from family adventures and alternative education to travel, creativity, conscious consumption and building life outside the usual template.

I’m open to hearing from brands, hotels, stays, attractions and experience providers about:

I’m selective about what I share because I want recommendations here to mean something. I’ll only accept products and experiences that genuinely fit my life, values and audience, and gifting does not automatically guarantee coverage.

Where specific content, deliverables, usage rights or deadlines are required, we'll agree those separately as a paid or clearly defined partnership.

THE IMPORTANT BIT

The best collaborations feel like “of course these two should work together.”

I care much more about genuine fit than the size of your business, follower count or whether the exchange can be made perfectly equal down to the last pound.
